Council Boss Appoints Former Council Manager Special Adviser.

The chairman of the Badagry Local Government, Hon. Olusegun Onilude has appointed the immediate past Council Manager, of the council, Mr Sunday Amosu as the Special Adviser to the Chairman on Media Relations and Allied Matters.

H made this known at the ground breaking ceremony of the One Hundred Million Naira Ultra modern storey building secretariat of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) of the local government.

Onilude who described Amosu as a dutiful and well grounded civil servant noted that the achievements recorded by his administration was not without the cooperation of the immediate past Council Manager and other very considerate and loyal civil servants in the council.

“It was in this light that we decided to appoint him as a Special Adviser on Media Relations and Allied Matters ”
The council boss commended the branch chairman of Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Mr Saka Rabiu for his initiative which was first of its kind to build a secretariat complex for the union.

While urging members of the union to be alive to their responsibilities as civil servants in the council, Onilude enjoined them to be weary of any act that could impede their service delivery to the people of the local government.

He assured members of the union of the commitment of his administration towards their welfare . ” You can be assured of the support of our administration to mobilise funds from within and outside to complete the project of your dream within the stipulated record time. ” He said.

In his remarks at the occasion the chairman of NULGE Badagry branch Mr Saka Rabiu commended Onilude for his laudable programmes towards the socio – economic growth of the people of the council since his assumption as chairman in local government. ” it no gainsaying the fact that you have made a remarkable impact on the lives of the people of Badagry as a whole. “
