IKOSI ISHERI MARKS 1 YEAR REMEMBRANCE OF EX CHAIRMAN OYESCO WITH PRAYERS

The Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area has marked the one year remembrance of the local Government Chairman, late Hon. Oyesanya Abdulfatai(Oyesco) with Islamic prayers as a leader of value who left a good legacy among the people.

The one year remembrance in Islamic prayers took place on Thursday at the Ikosi Isheri premises led by the Chief Imam Ismail Balogun who prayed for the late ex Chairman in Quran Chapter 67 for Allah’ s Forgiveness and grant of Aljanah fidau.

Alfa Ismail Balogun exhorted all the participants to encourage more in doing good now on earth according to the God’s Kingdom in order to have the hope of getting to Aljanah when you die as hell fire also is real for the wicked and sinful. He exhorted. Saying also, no thing we want to become on earth that does not own by God.

The Executive Chairman of Ikosi Isheri LCDA,Mayoress Princess Bolanle Bada expressed how the council has never disappointed the late ex Chairman and the All Progressive government on the council projects continuity so as to achieve a solid and greater progress in Lagos.

Mayoress stated further in her address that it is important for everyone to make sure that whatever you do today speak well of you tomorrow. She however described the late ex chairman Oyesco as a grassroots leader who thought about politics every day in his life time and one who has left a good legacy among them.

She prayed that God should grant Aljanah Fidau as well as one leader she referred to as Dad,late Alhaji Senator Adebayo Osinowo who left good legacy in the East senatorial district and Olu Omo Big Daddy of the Kosofe constituency 2.

Mayoress added that she would never stop the campaigning to Lagosians to stay safe because of COVID 19 pandemic that even though God is the only one that protect and care for all,we needed to be watchful,careful and keep to social distance and clean hands always with sanitizer because the pandemic is now deadlier.

The Secretary To The Local Government, (SLG) Hon. Dolapo Bashiru described the late ex Chairman Oyesco as a disciplinarian and God fearing man of God who taught them to do things according to the will of God.

Bashiru said that he learnt so many things from the late Oyesco apart from polities,saying he was not truly practicing Islam in the past before the ex chair taught him how its been applied and has made him benefited a lot from him and APC trends and Template of continuity.
