In A Fresh Attacks Bandits Kidnapped District Head, Four Children Kill One In Zamfara

Bandits have kidnapped the district head of Matseri town, in Anka local government area of Zamfara state Alhaji Halilu Tudun Matseri and his four children.

They also killed one person, Malam Maigaiya Matseri who was on a rescue mission of the district head.

Confirming the incident while speaking to Sky news, the Emir of Anka, who is also the Chairman, Zamfara state council of chiefs, Alhaji Attahiru Ahmed said the bandits went to the town early morning of today and whisked away the district head and his children.

The Emir prayed for safe return of the kidnapped district head and his children, urging the security agents to redouble efforts in the fight against banditry in the state.

An indigene of the town, Malam Mohammed Musa told Sky news that, the bandits who came to the town on motorcycles around 2 o’clock am of today didn’t touch anybody except the district head and his family.
