Our Mission Is To Bring Good Health To The People Of Badagry As OK Foundation Provides Free Health Services

Olu Kosoko Foundation in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Eko Atlantic Nigeria, will on Friday 20th November 2020, launch a free health programme tagged ” Rotary Family Health Day in Badagry”, for 1000 persons across the length and breath of Badagry Local Government and the two Local Council Development Areas.

According to a press release issued by the Project Lead, Olu Kosoko Foundation, the free health program is to provide free health services, free consultations and free check-ups.

The statement reads, “It is presumed that the wellness of any citizen determines the growth of any community, state and nation at large.

“Remarkably, the programme is set to include the following services: Hepatitis B& C, Diabetes, Hypertension, Tuberculosis & Glucose screening.
Polio immunization, HIV Testing and Counselling, Deworming for children, Malaria screening & insecticide treated net distribution, Family counselling, condom supply and Sanitary pads for girls.”

Olu Kosoko Foundation is a grassroot non-governmental, non-political and non-religious body in Badagry posed to impact people through education, empowerment and entrepreneurship.

The Rotary organization is a well established international NGO committed to the social well being of Nigerians nationwide.

The two days event will hold in 2 different locations for easy access and reach to all communities.

Day One, Friday 20th November 2020 will feature the
Official Launch of Rotary Family Health Day
Time: 10:00am – 11am
Venue: Badagry Town Hall, Badagry, Lagos State.

Free Health Check Up will commence same day by 8am – 5pm at same venue for Badagry Central & Badagry West LCDA residents.

Day Two will be the turn of residents of Olorunda Local Council Development Area, 8am – 5pm at Mosafejo Town Hall, Olorounda, Badagry, Lagos.

“The mission of the programme is to bring grassroot health services to the people of Badagry with a trajectory of about 1000 (One Thousand) persons.

“The session intends to provide support and advisory activities to the participants for a comprehensive health care or health surgery when necessary.

“Our partnership with a world leading NGO like Rotary Club is another testimony that our strategic approach to achieve more when we are united in purpose and action through partnership and collaboration.

“We hope to achieve a good degree of health awareness and soft medical treatment at the end of the program.”
