He said, the one day on and one day off is a bit better, to compare with when their was total lock down. “At first when they ease the first phase we were trading only from 9am till 3pm which were very bad, infact their was lots of congestion and rushing which were not helping us, then the guidelines of N.C.D.C here in Alaba to be sincere we find it difficult to maintain social distances in the Market. But, now that is 8am till 6pm is better than before, we are using this medium to appeals to the state Government to help them by bringing back regular Monday to Saturday operation because majority of our Traders get their daily bread on daily basis” he added. The Treasurer Alaba Int’l Market further speaks about giving palliatives as he said palliatives were not disburse to them in Industrial Materials Section from the State Government but the Local Government tried their best added that they are happy with the Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government, Hon Olushola Rosulu. According to him, he said palliatives were distributed to the needy through the union, majorly himself and some other stakes holders in Industrial Materials Dealers Association gave out some cash and materials palliatives. Also speaking in term of Security, he said Industrial Materials Dealers Association F line which is popularly known for crime sector is now a no go area for the area boys and bad gangs since he assumed the office as the Executive Chairman.
