Zamfara Contributory Health Management Agency has come to stay – Executive Secretary

The Executive Secretary of Zamafara State Contributory Health Management Agency (ZAMCHEMA) Dr. Yusuf Abubakar has said that despite political saboteurs the agency has come to stay as save one million lives secured some facilities for the program in the state.

Addressing a press conference in Gusau,Dr Yusuf disclosed that some faceless group wanted to truncate the good efforts  of Governor Bello Matawalle in putting smiles to the citizen through provision of health care services.

He explained that the recent petition written by Zamfara Circle against the agency was baseless and politically sponsored.

“It was aimed at tarnishing the good efforts of the administration of  Governor Bello Matawalle’s efforts in providing health for all”.

The Zamfara Circle” has among other things accused the Executive Secretary of diverting the Agency’s funds as well as dominating its activities without involving other staff of the agency.

Dr. Yusuf said the alleged  accusation was sponsored by some disgruntled elements aimed at distabilizing the steady take off of the agency in the state.

“It is good we put in record that,Save one million lives secured the office accommodation for the agency and also provide office facilities for us”.

He disclosed that some faceless  people have openly demonstrated their haterade for the ongoing transformation agenda of Governor Matawalle in the health sector in the state.

“They were not happy with the program because of the assistance given to the poor and wanted to distrupt the whole exercise ọn  political  ground”.

He Maintained that,past leadership  hurriedly handed over the agency without anything in the account, lamenting that, he had to borrow money in order to carry out some important activities of the agency.

“I wonder where I got the money that I was alleged to have diverted by those enemies of progress”.

According to him he has all documents of all transactions to show to any doubting group or individual who wanted to verify.

He challenged Zamfara Circle to come forward to access the facts of what transpired if they were interested in issues related to the activities of the agency and desist from using one sided information to mislead the general public.
