Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board has embarked on monitoring exercise for the school resumption aimed at ensuring that all laid down procedures set up by the government have been complied with the by school authorities.
The Director of Quality Assurance of the Board Aminu Musa Kanoma who declared this during a visit to some schools in Zamfara said, the idea was to ensure that, procedures especially those that relate to Covid-19 are not breached by the schools as government remains committed to making teaching and learning in the state more conducive.
He noted as impressive that parents have complied with state government direcrltive of schools resumptions hence the level of student’s turn out in most of the schools visited was appereciable.
He added that, 90% of the the students and teachers have resumed and that in almost all the schools visited revision exercise has started.
He commended the state government for its continued support to the board and called on the wealthy individuals to lend their support to the state pupils especially in the provision of teaching and learning materials.
